Since it's now easy to extract the numbers from Google Analytics, it turns out that whereas paid traffic is just under 2% of my visitors (this year so far*) they are worth just over 2% of my AS revenue.
Definitely I couldn't make money out of the arb if I tried, but it does confirm what I expected, ie that the segment of the traffic that shows itself willing to click on ads goes on clicking.
Interesting to see it in the pie charts.
Have to keep the day job though!
*Highly variable by day of week, etc, depending which new (hopefully sticky) demographic I'm pitching for.
