Subject: 404 redirect
Hi Guys,

I am trying to redirect my 404 page to the index but the tech at the ISP is MIA.

free-ppt.com

can anybody help?

Usually he has to set server permissions.

Is there anyway around that???

Since you're running IIS 6.0 I'm afraid when you don't have access to the server directly you do need the tech.

On apache servers you put something like this in your .htaccess:

ErrorDocument 404 /index.html

I preferred to use a specific error page which has the google search function on it, link to site map page and link to home page.
