Subject: How to check if your site is infected on Google
Exclusive to Publisher World:

Use this page to find out if your site is marked as infected by Google, also check that your outgoing links do not lead to sites that are marked as infected, additionally you can even find out if your neighborhood (Hosting Network) is clean as seen by Google

http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=http://www.yoursite.com/&hl=en
Replace www.yoursite.com with your domain

Many of the above you can also find out in Google's Webmaster Tools, but this page has 2 advantages:

1- Does not need for you to login or even have a WMT account
2- A great tool for you to check up on your competition too!

Great resource GB, thanks.

Sadly enough two of the networks I'm hosted with seem to carrying many infected hosts, the US one having 666 (!) infected hosts...

Not sure what to do about it other than perhaps forward the link to the hosting admin.

Very interesting. According to Google, my site was hosted on three (?) networks, ADN, OpenTransfer, and Google...

None of those, of course, are my host. I assume that either ADN or OpenTransfer must then by the host for my host. Both of them have malicious software on them.

Checked my old (effectively dormant) sites - not infected, but not visited by Google in the last 90 days either sad smiley

All looks good to me. Curious to see that it says Google has not visited my site in last 90 days - as I know that to not be true. Therefore not quite sure how valid these results are.

Same here. G says it hasn't visited for 90 days, but webmaster tools says the opposite. It't certainly been crawled by Google several times in that time period.

I think we'll all see 90 days irrespective.

To me it means [within] the last 90 days.

For my Gallery it claims to have visited recently (and found nothing bad).

I *suspect* that this is a special malware-hunting bot, possibly not from Google IP addresses, and probably with the UI of a popular browser or two...

Thus this special browser may not visit often even if the normal bot does.

Yes, it said it had visited my site recently too. Still puzzled by the names it gave for my my host.
