I find a lot of this AdWords stuff hard to fathom, but I have no experience except as a publisher.

No clue, K., though as I read it I thought the people arguing for "global history" of a keyword had some logic in their corner. Google has to have some way to assign a starting point, after all. It's either that or just start everyone high--but what's "high"? For one keyword, it might be 75 cents, while for another, it might be $7...

You can imagine that "dead popes" will have a very poor global QS whoever tries to put it in an ad, indeed.

I think nutmeg remains a breath of sanity over there, BTW.

Build up real slow if you're getting problems.

Just to think I used to use the word poop for a keyword, get visitors and convert them for a profit.

Now it is like trying to crack a safe.

I know people have data on the new standing of things, getting them to give it up is another matter.

I have asked netmeg to join us a time or two but with no results.

Does anybody know him/her?
